Bear Gulch is 27 miles from Lewistown, and tours are Wednesday through Sunday by appointment.
- Central Montana Museum. The museum features physical artifacts, displays, history books and educational media. Historical western characters such as Calamity Jane, Kid Curry, and Charles M. Russell all spent time in the Judith Basin, contributing to an interesting history collection at the museum.
- Fort Maginnis. Following the demise of Custer's Seventh Cavalry in June 1876, and the Nez Perce campaign through Montana in 1877, Fort Maginnis was established to provide military forts to protect the many ranches and settlers in the area in 1880. The fort provided economic benefits, health care, and a social life for those who lived in the fort and the surrounding areas. Fort Magginis was active for 10 years and was then abandoned in July of 1890. The site is managed by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation through the Lewistown office.
- Gilt Edge Ghost Town. Gold was discovered in the Judith Mountains in 1883 and a cyanide gold mill was built adjacent to what became the town of Gilt Edge. The Gilt Edge area mines produced about 100,000 ounces of gold. The abandoned town can be found approximately 18 miles North East of Lewistown. Other ghost towns in the area are the Kendall Ghost town and Maiden Ghost Town.
- Ackley Lake State Park. A manmade lake perfect for fishing, swimming, and camping, located 30-40 minutes from Lewistown near Hobson.
